If you know good authors or books you would like to add please feel free to help educate the masses. If you are looking to learn your history, why not set a little goal for yourself. Just like you have to feed the body right if you want to preserve it, like-wise you have to do the same for your mind. Excellent site peeper. I didnt know Johnny Mathis was african american. My grandmother used to love him to death. I thought he looked more of middle eastern descent.

You didn't know he was a track star @ UCLA that had an opportunity to go into the Olympics, but instead turned to singing love songs?

Just like Al Jarreau - both these guys were beasts on the track.

Had no clue. All I remember is my grandma and her sister playin the shit outta "To Much To Little To Late". I think he sang that with Denise Willaims.

And Paul Robeson was a Phenom in sports, as well as had the ability to speak three or four different languages!
Being an entertainer is not always a last resort for our people and many more need to know that! :yes:
